Identity Access Management Specialist

Support identity access management and security automation at Saint Mary's University in a permanent, full-time position with flexible workplace arrangements. Use PowerShell, Python, and troubleshooting skills across university technology services.

As an Identity and Security Automation Specialist, you will support the Enterprise Information Technology team under the Manager, Systems and Cybersecurity. The work includes Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, single sign-on, multi-factor authentication, and access lifecycle activities. You will also support automation, audits, documentation, and customer-focused technical communication.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provision, deprovision, and modify user access through approved requests
• Troubleshoot single sign-on and multi-factor authentication access issues
• Monitor identity platforms and investigate operational issues
• Perform access reviews and track audit remediation
• Create automation workflows for onboarding, changes, and offboarding

Requirements:

• Diploma or degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
• Two to five years of recent related technical experience
• Experience with Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID
• Experience in ticketing or ITSM environments
• Knowledge of IAM, authentication protocols, and networking
