IFS Senior Technical Specialist

In this role you will own and improve IFS Cloud environments, data, and releases to ensure reliable, business-ready platforms. You will collaborate across teams to enforce governance, raise deployment quality, and standardise processes for a multinational organisation. You will tackle data migration, integration, and continuous improvement initiatives, shaping how technology evolves in a complex environment. This is a technically hands-on, governance-focused position with a clear impact on reliability and efficiency of IFS Cloud operations.

• Own and improve IFS Cloud environment management and release processes
• Maintain inventories, mappings, baselines and platform documentation
• Ensure alignment between Build-place and Use-place environments for safe releases
• Manage deployments including updates, patches, configurations, reports, integrations and modifications
• Establish release governance, version control and change management standards
• Monitor release performance and identify improvement opportunities
• Define and execute data migration and cleansing activities
• Standardise platform nomenclature and coordinate data remediation
• Develop and support PSO integrations
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure effective technical delivery
• Translate complex topics for both technical and non-technical audiences

• 3–5 years hands-on experience implementing and supporting IFS Cloud, MWO and PSO
• Strong knowledge of IFS Cloud, environment management and integration dependencies
• Expert knowledge of data migration methodologies and tools
• Strong understanding of release and change management processes
• Proficiency in SQL/PLSQL, REST/OData APIs and IFS Connect
• Familiarity with ITIL processes (Change, Release, Incident, Problem)
• Experience with Azure DevOps, Jira or similar release/work management tools
• Experience working with cross-functional teams in complex, multinational organisations
• Excellent organisation, attention to detail and stakeholder communication
