Illinois Licensed Senior Accountant

Providing assistant controller-level support to healthcare clients, the full-time Illinois Licensed Senior Accountant will manage financial reporting accuracy, assist with general ledgers, and prepare month-end close processes while working remotely from anywhere in the US. Key responsibilities Manage day-to-day financial reporting accuracy for assigned clients Assist with complex general ledgers and prepare monthly reporting packages Coordinate project tasks to ensure efficient client workflow and facilitate month-end close Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field CPA certification preferred Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, focusing on financial reporting and general ledger management Experience with full cycle accounting in the healthcare industry Strong understanding of accounting principles and month-end close processes
