Overview
In this role you will own software operations and implementation as our tech business scales, turning informal processes into a structured operating model. You’ll work across engineering, product and operations to design end-to-end workflows, tooling and automation. You’ll build processes from the ground up, document them, and train teams to operate them reliably. This role combines hands-on setup with cross-functional leadership to deliver scalable, live-ready product operations.
Responsibilities- Own software operations and implementation for a scaling technology business
- Create and codify processes where none exist; document and train teams
- Lead cross-functional projects across engineering, product and operations
- Hands-on configuration, deployments and device management
- Translate technical concepts for operational teams and vice versa
- Design processes, tooling and automation; avoid inheriting existing approaches
- Support product launches from engineering handover to live rollout (where applicable)
- Experience owning software operations or implementation in a scaling technology business
- Strong technical foundation across software configuration, deployments and device management
- Track record of building processes from scratch, then documenting and training
- Solid project management across cross-functional work
- Comfortable hands-on, configuring and troubleshooting as well as leading
