In this Implementation QA Engineer role, you will ensure the quality of a proprietary front-office fintech solution used in Investment Banking and Wealth Management. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to test business processes, reports, interfaces, and workflows, balancing automation with manual testing. The position emphasizes learning new business requirements quickly and driving cost-effective quality improvements. You’ll gain exposure to the banking sector within a startup-spirited, flat-structured London team. This is an entrepreneurial environment with responsibility and a strong focus on delivering reliable software.

- Evaluate client processes, workflows, reports, and interfaces to create and run test scripts
- Assess risk areas to prioritize and estimate effort for test scripts
- Leverage automation where feasible and use manual scripts where appropriate
- Drive continuous quality improvements for cost efficiency and effectiveness
- Troubleshoot custom reports, interfaces, and workflows using SQL analysis and XPath skills
- Test product-level functionality and new releases
- Degree from a reputable university
- At least 4 years' experience creating test scripts and performing functional testing
- Quick learner with minimal training required
- Interest in technology and finance
- Intermediate SQL Server T-SQL skills (Stored Procedures, Advanced Query Writing, JOIN types)
- Knowledge of XML/XPath/XSLT
- Experience with automated and manual testing approaches
