Indiana Licensed Collections Specialist

Managing a portfolio of assigned delinquent accounts, the full-time Indiana Licensed Collections Specialist will perform collection activities, initiate contact with debtors, and document all communications while providing exceptional customer service in a hybrid work environment. Key responsibilities Initiate contact with debtors through phone calls, emails, and written correspondence to discuss outstanding debts and negotiate payment arrangements Document all collection activities in compliance with client standards and Federal Regulations Utilize skip tracing techniques to locate debtors with changed contact information Required qualifications Must possess an Indiana Collections License upon placement High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework in business or related fields is preferred 0-1 years of experience in collections or related customer service roles, preferably in a financial or credit environment Proficiency in using collections software and Microsoft Office Suite Ability to work flexible hours, including days, evenings, and weekends as required
