- Provides patients with infectious disease specialty care services in addition to general primary care
- Development/updating of clinical guidelines for HIV, Hepatitis C, Tuberculosis, PrEP, nPEP and other infectious disease
- Managing and treating common health problems, including infections, as well as chronic, and complex illnesses and disorders, with a focus on infectious diseases;
- Prescribing or administering medication, therapy, etc. to treat or prevent illness, disease, or injury;
- Collecting, recording, analyzing, and maintaining patient information, including med histories, reports, and examination results;
- Explaining procedures and discussing test results or prescribed treatments with patients;
- Monitoring patients conditions and progress and reevaluating treatments as necessary;
- Performs other duties as assigned.
