This facility is part of Connecticut's largest integrated health care system, featuring a physician-managed, multi-specialty group with more than 600 providers across seven acute care hospitals, including one of the highest-volume surgical hospitals in New England and a charter member of the Memorial Sloan Kettering Alliance.

Physician - Infectious Disease
Job Details:

• Provide inpatient consultations at a major medical center
• Manage outpatient office visits including outpatient HIV and Hepatitis C patient treatment
• Assist with Antimicrobial Stewardship program
• Assist with infection control activities and hospital epidemiology programs
• Collaborate system-wide with over 20 Infectious Disease physician colleagues
• Provide post-graduate medical education for residents and medical students
• Appointment at the Assistant Professor level at a local university
• No primary care responsibilities
• Active Hospitalist program in place to support inpatient care
• Shared call with other Infectious Disease physicians
• Reports to the Division Director of Infectious Disease
• BC/BE Infectious Disease physician; must be licensed or eligible for licensure in the state of Connecticut
