A health services network on Long Island is actively seeking a licensed Physician to join their team as a Physician Quality Lead overseeing HIV/Hepatitis, STI, Tuberculosis, and PREP care across multiple locations on Long Island

About the Opportunity:

  • Shift: Day
  • Schedule: 4 Days Clinical, 1 Day Admin
  • Hours: Full-time
  • Setting: Multi-location on Long Island

Responsibilities:

  • Providing Infectious Disease and Internal Medicine care for patients with HIV, Hepatitis, and STI
  • Participating in Tuberculosis care with the local Department of Health
  • Participating in Case Conferences with care managers
  • Managing general outpatient infectious disease referrals
  • Collaborating with Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Women's Health, MDs, NPs, and PAs

Qualifications:

  • Doctorate Degree (MD, DO)
  • Active/Valid license as an MD or DO in New York State, DEA
  • Board Certification
  • Leadership experience in the Infectious Disease specialty
  • DEA registration
  • Ability to work with diverse patient populations in a community health setting
