Overview

In this role you will safeguard and improve data quality across UCL Estates, enabling informed decision-making and compliant operations. You will partner with data owners to drive governance, assessments and reporting, while supporting the Common Data Environment and data migration efforts. Working with Estates and Agile Delivery teams, you will promote standards and practical improvements to information management. This role offers a chance to shape a data-driven culture within a leading university environment.

Responsibilities
  • Identify, analyse and resolve data quality issues across multiple systems and data sources
  • Develop improvement plans with data owners and stakeholders
  • Conduct data quality assessments and support governance activities
  • Deliver meaningful reporting to support decision-making and performance
  • Assist with the implementation and ongoing administration of the Common Data Environment
  • Support data migration activities and improve information management practices
  • Ensure project and operational data is structured, consistent and accessible
  • Collaborate with Estates and Agile Delivery teams on digital initiatives and data standards
Key requirements
  • Experience with IWMS platforms and Common Data Environments (ideally Asite)
  • Strong understanding of facilities management operations and information management
  • Ability to work with stakeholders to improve data quality and establish standards
  • Analytical problem-solving skills with large data sets and root-cause analysis
  • Excellent communication; ability to explain technical concepts clearly
  • Advanced Excel and experience supporting data improvement initiatives through collaboration
  • Familiarity with Agile ways of working
  • Knowledge of ISO 19650, UK BIM Framework and SFG20 is advantageous
  • Experience in higher education, estates or built environment; knowledge of Power BI or SQL is advantageous
