Overview

As Data Architect, you will shape Pandora’s enterprise data architecture across commerce, manufacturing and supply chain, ensuring trusted data for analytics and AI. You’ll design conceptual and logical models, establish blueprints and naming standards, and guide engineering teams implementing on Azure-based platforms. You’ll architect domain data models and data product interfaces to enable self-service analytics and seamless data flows. This role blends governance with hands-on design to support Pandora’s data-driven transformation.

Responsibilities
  • Lead enterprise information architecture design and create semantic, conceptual, and logical models for engineering implementation
  • Architect domain data models for commerce, manufacturing, and supply chain to reflect business capabilities
  • Design data product interfaces and semantic contracts for bronze-to-gold transformations
  • Develop semantic layer architectures for business-facing analytics and self-service access
  • Review blueprints for core apps (SAP, Salesforce, o9) to ensure transition alignment and continuity
  • Co-create Master Data Management patterns for products, customers, suppliers, and stores
  • Establish data quality measures and modelling standards across bronze, silver, and gold layers
  • Review physical model proposals to align with enterprise data models
  • Design information value chains and data product specifications for downstream consumption by analytics, AI, and data consumers
  • Map business capabilities to information domains using Domain-Driven Design principles
  • Provide architectural oversight through reviews and governance adherence
  • Contribute to glossaries and semantic models bridging business and technical language
  • Mentor teams on data architecture and document anti-patterns in dimensional modelling and naming standards
Key requirements
  • Proven experience designing enterprise-scale information architectures in multi-source, multi-domain environments
  • Domain expertise in commerce, manufacturing, or supply chain data models
  • Experience with modern lakehouse patterns, silver/Gold layer concepts, and conformance standards
  • Knowledge of traditional dimensional modelling (Kimball, Data Vault) and data mesh/lakehouse transitions
  • Understanding of Azure data platform capabilities (Synapse, Databricks, Unity Catalog, Data Factory)
  • Track record of guiding transformations including SAP S/4HANA migrations and o9 implementations
  • Ability to create semantic layers and logical models with business adoption and self-service analytics in mind
  • Experience establishing Master Data Management patterns and governance within architecture
