Overview

In this Information Manager role, you will lead CDE implementation and governance across UK projects, acting as the regional expert to ensure data quality and compliant documentation. You’ll train project members, provide guidance to teams, and monitor usage and reporting to support project delivery. You’ll collaborate with clients and colleagues to optimise information flows and security. This role offers the chance to shape how large-scale projects manage digital information and documentation within a global infrastructure firm.

Responsibilities
  • Implement and operate the organisation's CDE; set up project standards and develop how-to guides
  • Provide training on CDE systems for internal and external users; act as regional CDE expert
  • Liaise with project teams and management to provide feedback, reports, and best-practice guidance
  • Ensure QA/QC of all transmitted information and compliance with project protocols
  • Manage project documentation across multiple projects; handle RFIs, correspondences, and submittals
  • Audit project information with clients and consultants; distribute issues to teams
  • Review drawings and attach comments; monitor essential forms and MIDPs reporting
  • Maintain digital security and monitor deliverables against project requirements
Key requirements
  • Extensive experience and strong knowledge of CDE (CDE Superuser)
  • Methodical with attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision
  • Proficient in MS Office (SharePoint, Word, Excel, Access), Autodesk Forma, Aconex; basic AutoCAD/Revit; PowerApps workflows
  • Understanding of ISO19650, GDPR, and related standards
  • Bachelor-level Information Profession qualification or equivalent; 3+ years in information management; GKIM Practitioner/EO/HEO may be acceptable
  • Security clearances required for the role
