Information Security Governance Lead

About the Role

Our client, a well-established mining corporation operating in the Kimberley, Northern Cape region, is seeking an experienced Information Security Governance Lead. This role is responsible for establishing and maintaining the organization's information security governance framework, policies, and procedures. You will ensure that security practices align with business objectives and comply with all relevant regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of IT governance frameworks (e.g., COBIT, ISO 31000) and risk management principles. Based in our Kimberley offices, you will lead initiatives to enhance the overall security posture and risk management capabilities of the company. This position requires excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills to drive security awareness and compliance across the organization.
