Information Security Manager with Network Engineering Skills

In this role you will lead the design, implementation and ongoing improvement of information security across networks and systems. You will manage the ISMS, monitor security events, and coordinate incident response, aligning security with business priorities. You’ll work with IT and stakeholders to assess risk, enforce safeguards, and support secure network design. The position blends governance with hands-on engineering, offering impact on security posture in a hybrid London-based environment.

• Oversee the Information Security Management System (ISMS)
• Monitor cybersecurity and network security events
• Coordinate incident response and ensure regulatory compliance
• Develop and enforce security policies and governance
• Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders on risk assessments and safeguards
• Produce security documentation and lead security awareness initiatives
• Provide guidance on secure network engineering practices
• Support secure network architecture and configuration

• Strong information security management and governance experience
• Hands-on ISMS implementation, maintenance and audit readiness
• Cybersecurity and network security expertise including incident response
• Demonstrated network engineering experience (routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs, secure design)
• Relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM, CISA, CompTIA Security+ or similar) beneficial
• Experience with regulatory frameworks (ISO 27001, GDPR, NIST) and security best practices
• Ability to communicate complex concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
