Information Security Testing Specialist

Apply security testing expertise in Toronto as an Information Security Specialist focused on vulnerability analysis, test automation, and enterprise applications. This is a full time opportunity.

This Information Security Specialist develops testing strategies and analyzes software requirements to establish testing scope. The work includes manual and automated testing, application security practices, and penetration testing results. You will collaborate with developers, business analysts, product managers, risk assessors, and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop comprehensive testing plans, strategies, resources, and schedules
• Design, maintain, and execute structured manual and automated test cases
• Track defects and collaborate with developers on resolution
• Prepare reports covering test coverage, defect density, and pass rates
• Ensure testing follows PCI, GRC, regulatory, and company requirements

Requirements:

• Four to six years of technical enterprise experience
• Analyze complex security vulnerabilities and penetration testing results
• Know PowerBI, PowerAutomate, Windows, UNIX, and Active Directory
• Understand firewalls, routers, switches, and vulnerability scoring systems
• Security certification preferred; project management experience is an asset
