Information Security Testing Specialist

Information security testing specialists combine vulnerability analysis with manual and automated software testing at Canadian Tire Corporation, Limited.

This Information Security Specialist role supports enterprise security through test planning, requirement analysis, case development, and execution. You will perform functional, regression, integration, performance, and user acceptance testing while tracking defects and maintaining automation. The work also includes compliance with PCI, GRC, industry standards, regulations, and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop comprehensive testing plans, strategies, schedules, and resource approaches
• Analyze application requirements and determine appropriate testing scope
• Design, maintain, and execute structured manual and automated test cases
• Track defects, collaborate with developers, and prepare detailed test reports
• Improve testing processes through feedback, tools, and methodologies

Requirements:

• Four to six years of technical enterprise experience
• Analyze complex security vulnerabilities and penetration testing results
• Knowledge of PowerBI, PowerAutomate, and application security practices
• Understanding of Active Directory, Windows, UNIX, and network technologies
• Security certification preferred, including CISSP or CEH
