Information Services Technician Timmins

Support Microsoft platforms and network systems as an Information Services Technician serving Timmins and the surrounding area. This permanent position is full-time.

District School Board Ontario North East seeks an Information Services Technician for an existing vacancy. The technician supports information services systems, maintains network and server applications, and helps sustain information and communication resources. The work includes Microsoft Azure, Windows Server, Windows Client, Office Suite, and Microsoft Intune.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain network and server applications for reliable information services
• Deploy endpoints using Microsoft Azure Endpoint Manager
• Install, repair, and maintain computer hardware and software
• Troubleshoot networking hardware, WLAN, switches, and network printers
• Support audiovisual equipment during school events and meetings

Requirements:

• Two-year computer studies diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science
• Experience with Microsoft software platforms and applications
• Experience with mobile device management systems such as Microsoft Intune
• Excellent organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Valid driver’s license, vehicle, insurance, and acceptable driving record
