Overview

As Information Systems Lead & Business Analyst at Safran Gloucester, you shape the technology strategy for the Gloucester MRO site and lead a team delivering high-impact IS solutions. You’ll align local initiatives with Safran’s global IS direction, drive digital transformation, and partner with the Global IS function to ensure secure, reliable systems. You translate business needs into technical requirements and manage end-to-end project delivery. This role combines leadership, strategy, and hands-on delivery in a world‑leading aerospace environment.

Responsibilities
  • Define and deliver the Gloucester IS roadmap aligned with business priorities and global strategy
  • Lead and coach Service Delivery Analysts and Software Developers to deliver on time and budget
  • Drive major technology projects to improve efficiency and user experience
  • Foster collaboration between Gloucester site and Safran Global IS
  • Partner with the Quality & Safety Manager to implement ISMS and support compliance with EASA Part-IS
  • Ensure high-quality day-to-day IT service and continuous service improvement
  • Translate operational needs into technology solutions with measurable value
  • Facilitate agile sprint planning and keep priorities aligned with objectives
  • Communicate project progress, risks, and plans to stakeholders
  • Gather and analyse business requirements and convert them into technical specifications
  • Lead the full lifecycle of new applications
Key requirements
  • University degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Computer Science, Finance, or MIS
  • Proven experience in team leadership and line management
  • Strong能力 in business/technical requirements analysis, business process and data modelling
  • Experience in designing, developing, implementing software/hardware solutions
  • Deep understanding of cybersecurity, network and cloud security, secure software practices
  • Experience importing/prepare data for reporting, analytics, and visualization
  • Ability to create clear operational procedures
  • Project management expertise with Scrum, Agile, and MS Project
