Information Technology Audit Manager

Up to £85,000 + excellent bonus + comprehensive benefits

Astrum Search is partnering with a leading UK FTSE organisation to appoint a Group IT Audit Manager, offering the opportunity to play a key role in strengthening technology assurance across a large, multi-site business.

The remit extends beyond traditional controls testing, covering emerging technology risks, digital transformation and the continued evolution of the audit function.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver risk based technology audits, assessing the effectiveness of controls and identifying opportunities to improve risk management
• Review technology environments spanning cloud, infrastructure, cyber security, data management and IT resilience
• Provide independent assurance over significant technology projects and transformation initiatives, identifying risks before they impact delivery
• Partner with technology and business leaders to discuss findings, challenge existing approaches and agree practical improvements
• Make greater use of Power BI, data analytics, automation and AI to enhance audit coverage, insight and efficiency

Skills & Experience:

• Background in IT Audit, Technology Risk or Technology Assurance, with experience delivering reviews from initial scoping through to final reporting
• Broad understanding of technology risk, including infrastructure, cloud platforms, cyber security, data and resilience
• Ability to assess technology risks in the context of wider business objectives and communicate findings to senior stakeholders
• Exposure to major technology programmes, systems implementations or digital transformation would be advantageous
• CISA or another relevant professional qualification would be beneficial
• A genuine interest in applying data analytics, automation and AI to improve how Internal Audit operates
