Information Technology Audit Specialist

Shape IT risk assurance at ATB through technology controls and audit expertise in a hybrid remote and onsite arrangement. Protect systems, processes, and assets.

As ATB’s Information Technology Audit Specialist, you will conduct ongoing audits assessing key information technology controls. You will advise Business Units through recommendations that strengthen risk management strategies and controls. The work covers regulatory obligations, IT General Computing Controls, Cyber Security Controls, and Application Controls. You will provide objective assurance to senior leadership and ATB’s Board of Directors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review technology-related regulatory, industry, and contractual compliance controls
• Evaluate IT General Computing, Cyber Security, and Application Controls
• Provide assurance on systems, processes, and control effectiveness
• Deliver assurance and advisory engagement documentation
• Develop recommendations and final audit reports

Requirements:

• Understand IT Service Management, Architecture, or Product Management processes
• Design and assess technology-related preventative, detective, and corrective controls
• Apply IT audit principles, practices, and control standards
• Communicate complex issues clearly to stakeholders
• Hold a post-secondary degree or relevant professional designation
