Information Technology Engineer

This is a hands-on infrastructure and IT operations role responsible for maintaining US-hosted systems, AWS cloud services, and locally hosted payment systems. The ideal candidate is a seasoned banking technology professional with 10+ years of experience in the US banking sector. They take full ownership of incidents, manage service requests end-to-end, and keep systems compliant with US regulatory requirements. This individual is equally comfortable supporting end users and leading disaster recovery and audit activities.

This role is a CONTRACT-TO-HIRE position

Key Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in banking technology, infrastructure, or IT service management — US banking sector experience is mandatory
• Current AWS certification required; hands-on experience supporting AWS and US-hosted infrastructure
• Strong background in Windows xhqgsiq administration, networking, backup and recovery, security controls, and US payment systems
• Experience with ITSM platforms and incident/service request management within defined SLAs
• Familiarity with disaster recovery planning, risk remediation, and RCSA processes
