Information Technology Manager

TYPE: Permanent , full-time position as an employee

LOCATION: Montreal , hybrid work including 3 days from the downtown office

MANDATORY REQUIRED:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, information technology, or information systems
• 7+ years of experience leading the operation and continuous improvement of a mission-critical enterprise platform , managing platform upgrades, patching, and configuration
• 4+ years in a leadership/supervisory capacity overseeing a small team of SW developers and IT analysts
• Excellent collaborator with internal stakeholders, third-party vendors, industry partners, and government officials
• Very good spoken/written English , and spoken French
• Good planner who instils and follows a structured approach to tackle tasks, flexible to accept challenges of an ever-faster-changing technology landscape
• Experience with LMS ( Learning Management System ) administration, architecture, upgrades, and integrations
• Experience in higher-education teaching and learning environments, particularly supporting instructional practice - preferred
