Information Technology Operations Manager

Lead secure, reliable technology services at Glenbow in Calgary, supporting museum operations, visitor experiences, and organizational priorities through strong IT leadership.

The Manager, Information Technology leads Glenbow’s internal IT team and managed service providers. This position oversees IT operations, cybersecurity, enterprise applications, and visitor-facing technologies. It also advances technology adoption, business process improvements, and coordinated technology initiatives across the museum.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, coach, and manage the internal IT team
• Coordinate IT workloads, resources, service commitments, and projects
• Manage managed service providers and technology vendor relationships
• Oversee enterprise applications and visitor-facing technology services
• Lead complex technology issue resolution and service improvement

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in technology, computer science, business, or related field
• At least five years’ progressive information technology experience
• At least three years leading teams and external technology partners
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365, cloud services, cybersecurity, and enterprise systems
• Understanding of governance, service management, projects, vendors, and technology risk
