We are working with a globally recognised high-performance engineering organisation to recruit an IT Support Engineer to join a fast-paced technical support team based in Brixworth.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with experience in an IT Support or Service Desk environment to work within a cutting-edge motorsport and engineering setting, supporting critical infrastructure and operational technology services in a customer-focused role.

The successful candidate will have a strong customer service mindset, a solid understanding of ITIL principles, and the ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment with demanding deadlines and constantly evolving priorities. Excellent communication skills and attention to detail are essential., along with a passion for Elite motorsport

Purpose of the Role

  • Deliver first-class IT operational support across specialised engineering and operational business areas
  • Work closely within a small, highly collaborative support team to provide exceptional service to key stakeholders
  • Participate in structured shadowing and training programmes to support remote operational teams during live global events
  • Balance competing priorities effectively while managing stakeholder expectations
  • Deliver operational and project-based technical support against demanding SLAs and tight deadeliness

Key Responsibilities

  • Support and deliver technical solutions across all stages of the ITIL service lifecycle
  • Provide exceptional customer support while assisting and mentoring wider support team members
  • Ensure all work adheres to defined processes, architectural standards, compliance requirements, and industry best practice
  • Build strong working relationships internally and with third-party suppliers
  • Take ownership of support requests through to resolution and customer sign-off
  • Identify opportunities for service improvement across infrastructure, support processes, security, availability, and performance
  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives across the IT function

Required Experience

  • Windows 10 / 11 and mobile operating systems
  • Microsoft Office / Microsoft
  • 365Active Directory and Group Policy management
  • Networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, WAN and LAN
  • Knowledge of storage systems, monitoring, performance and availability tools

Qualifications

  • Degree or equivalent experience
  • Microsoft certifications
  • Strong interest in motorsport, live operations, or high-performance engineering environments
