Information Technology Team Lead

• This is an on-site role 5 days a week in Hemel Hampstead
• Pension Scheme with 21.65% employer contribution

I am looking for a IT Team Leader, to join an established internal IT function. This role offers a strong mix of hands‑on technical delivery, people management, and strategic input, within a user‑focused environment.

The Role

You’ll operate at 2nd and 3rd line support level, taking ownership of day‑to‑day IT operations while helping shape the future direction of IT services.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing 2nd and 3rd line IT support to a diverse user base
• Line management of an onsite IT / Media Technician
• Managing network infrastructure, servers, workstations and applications
• Ensuring support requests are resolved efficiently and within agreed timescales
• Maintaining and developing core ICT systems and infrastructure
• Supporting and enhancing the use of technology within a user‑facing environment
• Advising senior stakeholders on IT service development and improvement
• Ensuring operational needs across teams are effectively supported by IT solutions

This is a role for someone comfortable working independently while collaborating as part of a wider IT team.
