Working closely with Infrastructure, Cloud, Application, and Operational Technology teams, you will play a key role in enhancing enterprise observability, driving automation, and ensuring monitoring platforms deliver meaningful insights. Your expertise will directly contribute to the stability, resilience, and continuous improvement of enterprise technology services.

Your Responsibilities

  • You'll administer and optimize the enterprise SolarWinds environment, including platform configuration, upgrades, maintenance, and lifecycle management.
  • You'll monitor the health and performance of servers, cloud environments, virtualization platforms, storage, and core infrastructure services.
  • You'll design and refine alerts, thresholds, event correlation, and reporting to improve monitoring accuracy and reduce alert fatigue.
  • You'll collaborate with Infrastructure, Cloud, Application, and Operational Technology teams to expand observability standards and improve service visibility.
  • You'll develop dashboards, operational reports, documentation, knowledge articles, and platform standards while supporting incident response activities.
  • You'll contribute to continuous improvement initiatives through automation, predictive monitoring, and enhanced observability capabilities.

Skills and Qualifications

  • 5+ years of progressive enterprise infrastructure monitoring or systems administration experience.
  • Strong experience administering SolarWinds in large enterprise environments, including SolarWinds HCO or Observability solutions.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, including Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Azure Virtual Machines, and Entra ID, along with Windows Server administration, patching, and performance monitoring.
  • Experience with ITIL or ITSM practices, including incident, problem, event, and change management, with ServiceNow experience considered an asset.
  • Experience with PowerShell scripting, REST APIs, infrastructure automation, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, or ARM), and hybrid cloud environments is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of AIOps, observability practices, synthetic monitoring, distributed tracing, Power BI, disaster recovery, resiliency, and Microsoft AI technologies such as Copilot or Azure AI Services is considered an asset.
  • Strong documentation, communication, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional technical teams.
