Infrastructure Analyst

In this role you will maintain and develop the organisation’s infrastructure while supporting transformation projects. You’ll collaborate with Infrastructure, Service Desk and Architecture teams to deliver IT services and apply new technologies. You’ll own technical workstreams, provide guidance, and help ensure resilience and availability. This is a hands-on position with exposure to modernising infrastructure and cloud-enabled platforms in a global context.

• Maintain and develop the organisation’s infrastructure and core IT systems
• Support delivery of technical projects from evaluation to implementation and BAU transition
• Provide technical guidance to project managers and stakeholders
• Act as escalation point for Infrastructure Analysts to resolve complex issues
• Support infrastructure change, service improvement and technology roadmaps
• Produce and maintain system design, configuration, testing and recovery documentation
• Improve knowledge sharing across Infrastructure and Service Desk
• Contribute to disaster recovery, business continuity and high availability planning
• Collaborate across IT to support the wider technology strategy

• Microsoft-focused infrastructure experience (VMware administration)
• Azure experience including Entra ID and application configuration
• Windows Server 2016, 2019 and 2022
• Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Sites and Services, replication
• Networking and troubleshooting
• Windows file services and DFSR
• Disaster recovery, high availability, RPO/RTO principles
• Enterprise application infrastructure and server back-end configuration
• Monitoring technologies (SolarWinds, SNMP, MIBs)
• Change and problem management
