Infrastructure Architect V Azure Hybrid Cloud

Lead Microsoft Azure and hybrid infrastructure architecture in Toronto, working onsite two days weekly under a six-month enterprise contract.

As an Infrastructure Architect V, you will design resilient, scalable, secure solutions across on-premises, public cloud, and mixed Azure environments. You will connect application engineering, information security, and cloud delivery while governing technology strategy. The work spans operating systems, databases, storage, networking, and security protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design enterprise architecture frameworks, policies, principles, and standards
• Architect resilient solutions across on-premises and hybrid cloud environments
• Evaluate security risks and ratify solution designs
• Approve detailed architectures for enterprise compliance
• Construct requirements traceability matrices from delivery requirements

Requirements:

• Ten or more years in infrastructure architecture and systems engineering
• Strong Microsoft Azure hybrid cloud architecture experience
• Extensive Linux and Windows server experience
• Knowledge of enterprise databases, storage, networking, and security
• Relevant degree in computer science, information technology, or engineering
