Lead Infrastructure Automation Engineer – London

Location: London –3 days per week onsite (Canary Wharf)

We are seeking an experiencedLead Infrastructure Automation Engineer to lead a strategic infrastructure modernisation programme across EMEA. You will transform a largely manual environment into a scalableInfrastructure-as-Code (IaC) platform, taking ownership from strategy and design through to delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• LeadIaC and infrastructure automation across on-prem and future cloud environments.
• Build automated provisioning, configuration, patching, compliance and lifecycle processes.
• Developself-service infrastructure workflows and automation frameworks from the ground up.
• Define infrastructure standards, governance and best practices.
• Provide technical leadership across Infrastructure, Operations and Engineering teams.
• Support modernisation involvingKubernetes, OpenShift and hybrid cloud .
• Help establish and mentor a future infrastructure automation team.

Essential Experience

• Strong hands-onTerraform and Ansible experience.
• Enterprise-scale IaC and greenfield automation experience.
• StrongLinux, VMware and enterprise infrastructure knowledge.
• Experience withKubernetes / OpenShift .
• Exposure toAzure or GCP and hybrid cloud environments.
• Git, CI/CD and DevOps experience.
• Proven ability to independently lead strategic infrastructure transformation projects.
