Infrastructure Engineer

Liverpool Street, London - Hybrid 3-4 days onsite

We're looking for a hands-on Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join a fast-paced insurance organisation investing heavily in AI, automation and modern cloud infrastructure.

A major focus of the role will be helping the business automate infrastructure and operational processes wherever possible, while supporting the secure integration of AI technologies and workflows across the environment.

The cloud estate is hybrid across Azure and GCP, but the priority is finding someone with a strong Azure infrastructure background who also brings either GCP knowledge/exposure or AWS experience.

What we're looking for:

• Strong hands-on Azure infrastructure and networking experience
• Strong Terraform / Infrastructure as Code skills
• Experience automating cloud infrastructure, deployments and operational workflows
• Azure plus either GCP knowledge/exposure or AWS experience
• Understanding of AI technologies, workflows and integration within enterprise environments
• Ability to support the secure deployment and adoption of AI solutions
• Strong cloud networking knowledge across areas such as VNets, routing, DNS, connectivity and security
• Broad, cloud-first infrastructure experience rather than a predominantly legacy/on-prem background
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

You’ll be joining a lean infrastructure team where engineers are expected to be hands-on, adaptable and comfortable taking ownership across a broad technology estate.
