Infrastructure Engineer

In this role you work within a dynamic infrastructure team to deliver high-quality civil engineering solutions across diverse sectors. You will support schemes from design through planning to construction, applying best practices and standards. • Produce design drawings and calculations for planning applications and construction
• Support schemes through design phases and regulatory approvals
• Apply relevant codes, standards and design practices for highway and drainage work
• Collaborate with private-sector development projects and multidisciplinary teams
• Prepare drawings for private and adoptable arrangements
• Utilise software for model-based design and drawings (as applicable)
• Contribute to a proactive, collaborative project environment

• BEng/MEng in Civil Engineering or related degree with 2+ years post-graduate experience
• Experience in highway engineering, drainage engineering, or development infrastructure design
• Understanding of best practice guidance (e.g., MfS, DMRB, CIRIA SuDS, Sewerage Sector Guidance) desirable
• Numerate and software literate; working knowledge of AutoCAD
• Knowledge of 3D modelling (Civils3D or similar) and drainage modelling (MicroDrainage or similar) desirable
• Experience in preparing drawings and calculations for private and adoptable arrangements
• Private-sector/consultancy development background with a collaborative approach
• Good organisational and communication skills; driving licence and access to a car preferred
