Overview

In this role you will maintain and evolve infrastructure across multiple sites, spanning on-premise environments and private cloud. You’ll ensure reliable servers, networks, and storage while supporting upgrade and migration projects. You will patch, back up, test disaster recovery, and document technical processes to drive improvements. You’ll collaborate with third-party vendors and cross-functional teams to deliver resilient IT systems. Responsibilities
  • Maintenance of infrastructure, systems and networks across multiple sites (on-premise and private cloud)
  • Implementing and maintaining physical servers and virtualised platforms; assisting with upgrade/migration projects
  • Server patching, backups, disaster recovery, troubleshooting
  • Producing technical documentation and process improvement
  • General networking and management of relationships with third-party vendors
Key requirements
  • Experience in a similar infrastructure engineer role with strong on-premise and cloud skills
  • Microsoft Server (Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy) and virtualization (Hyper-V, VMware) experience
  • Storage solutions (SAN, RAID) and backup/disaster recovery best practices
  • General networking skills (security, firewalls, routing, switching, VLANs)
  • Flexibility to travel internationally occasionally
