Infrastructure Engineer

Database and Infrastructure Engineer - Harwell | Up to £55k

Hexwired has partnered with a company who are a leading specialist solutions company. They are looking for a Database and Infrastructure Engineer who will be building and maintaining IT infrastructure on customer platforms and provide support to our internal IT systems.

This role includes the use of Microsoft MSSQL and MySQL DBMS, virtualisation as well as general IT infrastructure. All systems need to run 24/7 and will adopt any forms of high availability and replication.

Key skills required for this role:

• Strong Microsoft SQL Server experience


• Strong MySQL experience


• Database design & performance tuning


• Firewall, networking, and VPN configuration/maintenance and Virtualisation experience

The salary for this Database and Infrastructure Engineer role will be up to £55,000 per annum.

The company are rapidly expanding and are at the forefront of their industry.

They are looking to pay circa up to £55k dependent on experience along with an excellent benefits package.
