Infrastructure Engineer Cloud Operations

Design and maintain cloud and on-premises infrastructure at BMO, applying network security expertise in an on-site role with after-hours availability. Diagnose complex issues and support reliable enterprise technology services.

As a Specialist II-IC Infrastructure Engineering professional, you will design, build, deploy, evaluate, and maintain IT infrastructure. The work includes cloud computing, systems administration, routing, switching, virtualization, and cybersecurity. You will coordinate infrastructure devices, support disaster recovery options, and act as a technical liaison across IT teams, vendors, partners, and the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, deploy, and maintain IT infrastructure
• Diagnose network, storage, and server issues
• Track vulnerabilities and apply patches and remediations
• Monitor networks and servers for critical alerts
• Coordinate production changes and release plans

Requirements:

• One to three years of relevant experience
• Post-secondary degree or equivalent education and experience
• Proficiency in cloud computing and virtualization
• Knowledge of network routing, switching, and security
• Availability for on-site after-hours and occasional weekend work
