Infrastructure Engineer - DV Cleared

In this role you will design, implement, and support IT infrastructure to meet customer needs within defence and critical infrastructure projects. You will contribute to automation and project delivery while maintaining secure, reliable systems. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with security and privacy standards and to drive improvement across physical and virtual environments. • Design and implement physical and virtual IT infrastructure solutions per customer requirements
• Maintain and support IT infrastructure, troubleshoot faults, monitor health, manage backups, patching, vulnerabilities, and upgrades
• Create and maintain infrastructure documentation, including incident records and resolutions
• Develop and maintain scripts/automation tools, lead IT project delivery, ensure security and privacy compliance
• Attend meetings and training as required, perform other duties as needed

• Previously worked as an Infrastructure Engineer or in a similar role
• Experience in systems administration and IT infrastructure support
• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent practical experience
• Background leading or owning IT project delivery
• Strong knowledge of networking technologies and equipment (Cisco, Juniper, HP, Dell)
• Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP and related protocols
• Familiarity with virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V)
• Practical knowledge of Ansible/AWX, Python, PowerShell, and BASH for scripting/automation
• Experience managing Microsoft and Linux environments
• Knowledge of backup technologies (NetBackup, Veeam)
