Overview

In this role you will own the end-to-end IT infrastructure for a small risk-focused business, reporting to the CTO. You will design, implement and maintain environments that support business needs, drive change, and ensure resilience. You’ll strengthen network security, manage vendor relationships, and oversee out-of-hours maintenance to minimise disruption. This is a hands-on position with exposure to financial risk technology and a clear path to deepen technical and business impact.

Responsibilities
  • Design, implement and support IT environments aligned with business needs
  • Manage full lifecycle of new technologies and changes
  • Develop, implement and maintain backup and disaster recovery strategies
  • Improve and sustain network security across the environment
  • Research, procure and deploy IT equipment and services with suppliers
  • Provide management reporting to senior staff
  • Perform out-of-hours maintenance to minimise business impact
  • Maintain domain configurations and services
Key requirements
  • Microsoft, G Suite & Windows technologies experience
  • Microsoft Active Directory & Exchange (essential)
  • Experience supporting a multi-server network environment
  • Networking knowledge: DHCP, DNS, routing, VLAN, firewall, VPN
  • Degree or equivalent; qualifications such as CCNA/CCNP; Office 365 Cloud and Microsoft Azure experience
