In this role you will support mission-critical trading infrastructure for a fintech client in London, ensuring stability and performance of globally distributed data-center environments. You will collaborate with support, sales, and engineering to resolve infra and network issues and to automate deployments. Your work directly enables reliable execution and risk-free operations for buy/sell-side clients. Responsibilities
  • Respond to infrastructure and network inquiries from clients
  • Support customers and resolve server issues and network connectivity
  • Improve documentation of support policies and procedures
  • Analyze server failures and implement preventive solutions
  • Automate server deployment
  • Deploy, monitor and maintain globally distributed datacentre infrastructure
Key requirements
  • STEM degree
  • 4+ years’ experience supporting mission critical infrastructure
  • Red Hat Linux Certification or equivalent
  • comfortable on the command line
  • Hardware experience including setup and maintenance
  • Some networking experience
  • Ideally CCNA
  • Virtualisation (VMware/Virtualisation)
