Overview

In this role you will support mission-critical infrastructure underpinning a leading Execution Management System used by buy-side and sell-side clients. You’ll join a fast-paced, entrepreneurial support team and collaborate with sales and engineering to resolve infrastructure issues and improve deployment and monitoring. You will automate server deployment and manage globally distributed data-centre infrastructure, helping prevent outages and optimise performance. This is a chance to shape resilient trading-tech platforms at a fintech leader with global reach.

Responsibilities
  • Respond to infrastructure and network inquiries from clients
  • Support customers with server issues and network connectivity
  • Improve documentation of support policies and procedures
  • Analyse server failures and implement preventative solutions
  • Automate server deployment
  • Deploy, monitor and maintain globally distributed data-centre infrastructure
Key requirements
  • STEM Degree
  • 2+ years’ experience supporting mission critical infrastructure
  • Red Hat Linux Certification or equivalent
  • AWS
  • Ansible
  • Hardware setup and maintenance experience
  • Some networking experience
  • Virtualisation
