Infrastructure Engineering Lead

Lead enterprise infrastructure engineering with Azure, Google Cloud Platform, and network design at McKesson, using a flex model with two office days weekly.

This experienced Infrastructure Engineering Lead sets technical direction across cloud and on-premises environments. The work spans hybrid infrastructure, automation, reliability engineering, and enterprise architecture standards. You will lead large-scale projects and partner with senior engineering teams and cross-functional stakeholders on secure, high-performing solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead enterprise infrastructure design, implementation, and support
• Set technical direction and enforce architecture standards
• Oversee large-scale infrastructure project delivery
• Own network capacity planning and cost optimization
• Lead critical incident escalation and complex troubleshooting

Requirements:

• Degree or equivalent with 10+ years relevant experience
• 10+ years in enterprise infrastructure engineering
• Hands-on Azure and Google Cloud Platform experience
• Strong BGP, routing, and network design experience
• Automation tools experience, including Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet
