Overview
As Team Lead, you will steer the infrastructure chapter to design and scale cloud platforms that support vehicle development and safety assurance. You will guide architecture, lead cross‑team projects, and ensure reliable Kubernetes deployments with Terraform, alongside maintaining on‑prem infrastructure for research. Your leadership will drive scalable, secure cloud solutions and observability to optimize performance. This role offers impact at the core of an innovative space technology company, with a focus on cutting‑edge cloud and hardware integration.
Responsibilities- lead projects to deliver cloud infrastructure at scale
- design and implement architectural changes for scaling, security, and performance
- deploy and scale cloud infrastructure to support vehicle development and safety platforms
- collaborate with cross‑functional teams to design and deploy cloud software on Kubernetes using Terraform
- support and maintain on‑premises infrastructure used by research teams
- develop and document Terraform modules for reuse across teams
- ensure observability with tools such as Prometheus and Grafana
- lead with strong Linux server administration and configuration management
- apply networking knowledge to support secure, reliable infrastructure
- communicate DevOps principles and practices effectively to stakeholders
- experience leading projects to deliver cloud infrastructure
- in‑depth experience with AWS
- experience using Terraform or other IaC tools, including module development with documentation
- experience with Kubernetes in production environments at scale
- familiarity with observability tools such as Prometheus and Grafana
- strong Linux server administration and configuration management skills
