Infrastructure Manager

In this senior, hands-on leadership role you will direct global IT infrastructure strategy while remaining technically involved in day-to-day operations. You’ll oversee cloud, network, server, storage and identity environments and drive modernization, platform consolidation and post-acquisition integration across UK and US operations. You will lead engineering teams and partners, ensuring resilient, secure, and scalable services. This role combines strategic direction with practical problem‑solving in a fast-paced, acquisitive environment.

• Lead the global infrastructure strategy and remain technically involved in daily operations and engineering decisions
• Oversee configuration, optimization, and troubleshooting of cloud, network, server, storage, identity and end-user environments
• Drive modernization, cloud adoption, platform consolidation and post-acquisition integration
• Maintain technical oversight of Azure, Microsoft 365, Active Directory/Entra ID, Intune, Nutanix and enterprise networking
• Lead infrastructure engineering teams, MSPs and offshore partners
• Own infrastructure resilience, disaster recovery, security, service management and operational performance
• Identify and resolve complex technical issues and improve processes for secure, reliable, and scalable infrastructure
• Manage suppliers, budgets and cost optimisation initiatives

• Established infrastructure leader with a strong technical background
• Experience managing complex enterprise environments across multiple locations
• Practical expertise across cloud platforms, Microsoft technologies, identity, networking, virtualization and operations
• Comfort with technical detail, challenging engineering decisions and contributing to troubleshooting and design
• Experience in fast-paced, acquisitive or private equity-backed organisations is advantageous
