What You’ll Do

• Monitor cloud infrastructure, platforms and applications to help maintain reliable and available services
• Respond to operational alerts, carry out first-line investigation and escalates incidents when needed
• Record, prioritise and update incidents using established service management processes
• Support routine infrastructure operations, maintenance activities, changes and service requests
• Help investigate recurring technical issues and contribute to resolving problems
• Maintain accurate technical documentation, configuration records and asset information
• Work with engineers, users and third-party suppliers to support infrastructure services
• Follow security, compliance, data protection and operational procedures
• Develop your technical skills through practical experience, training and knowledge sharing
• Contribute ideas to improve infrastructure services and operational processes

Training Outcome

You'll have a strong foundation in infrastructure operations, monitoring, service management, incident and problem management, testing, asset and configuration management, enabling progression into Infrastructure Operations Engineer and related infrastructure roles.

Qualifications

• Essential - GCSE - English language & Literature - Grade 5 and above
• Essential - GCSE - Math - Grade 5 and above
• Essential - A Level - English Language & Literature - Grade B and above

• Desired - BTEC - A Level, BTEC or equivalent qualification in IT - Merit or above
