Infrastructure & Platform Specialist Solutions Architect (SSA)

In this role you guide enterprise customers in architecting production-grade ML and AI applications on the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform. You work closely with Solution Architects, shaping AI roadmaps and delivering MVPs, while advancing your expertise in GenAI, MLOps, and LLMOps. You mentor colleagues and position yourself as a trusted AI thought leader within a fast-moving, customer-focused environment. You will influence product direction and help scale platform adoption through hands-on technical leadership and deep domain knowledge.

• Architect production-grade ML/AI workloads and end-to-end pipelines, including training/inference optimization and MLOps lifecycle management
• Lead GenAI initiatives for enterprises, focusing on RAG architectures, agentic systems, observability, and natural language querying of data
• Provide advanced technical support during technical sales by building MVPs and leading deep-dive sessions
• Collaborate with product and engineering to represent customer voice and influence the AI roadmap
• Drive AI platform adoption and community engagement through tutorials, training materials, and external events

• 10+ years of hands-on DS/ML experience with a focus on either ML Engineering or Data Science/AI
• Experience with distributed Spark-based systems
• Knowledge of data engineering concepts
• Pre-sales or post-sales experience with external clients; 5+ years preferred
• Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
• Graduate degree in a quantitative discipline or equivalent practical experience
• Ability to travel up to 30%
