As an Infrastructure Software Engineer on Scale’s Apps Platform Infrastructure team, you will help scale and stabilize deployment and observability across cloud providers and on‑prem environments. You’ll work with internal teams to understand usage, troubleshoot issues, and shape a roadmap that balances immediate needs with long‑term architecture. The role focuses on cloud‑agnostic infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and strong incident response. You’ll drive architecture reviews and own end‑to‑end projects in a fast‑paced, cross‑functional setting, making an impact on production reliability and platform usability.

- Expand deployment coverage to on‑prem, all major cloud platforms, and beyond
- Ensure fast, secure, reproducible deployments across CSPs and on‑prem
- Enhance platform observability for customer deployments and internal teams
- Collaborate with internal teams to understand needs, debug issues, and build supporting tooling
- Respond to incidents with urgency, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive fixes
- Develop and maintain a product roadmap for deployment and observability
- Lead architecture reviews and own end‑to‑end projects from design to deployment in cross‑functional settings
- 5+ years building and deploying enterprise and public sector solutions across AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI and on‑premises
- Deep expertise in infrastructure design, networking, VPNs, load balancers, and firewalls
- Strong IaC, containerisation and orchestration skills (Kubernetes, Terraform, Docker)
- Comprehensive understanding of CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or CircleCI
- Experience with GitOps deployments and repeatable deployment practices
- Strong debugging skills and ability to balance performance and security in production
- Comfort with ambiguity and switching between incident response and product development
