Overview
In this role you will act as the lead technical authority for nominated accounts and sales projects within a global fintech vendor. You will craft technical requirements, respond to RFIs/RFPs, design architectures, and contribute to solution costing and documentation. You’ll work closely with presales and the Managed Services team to drive growth, solve complex problems, and deliver secure, scalable solutions under tight timelines. This position offers ownership of products and meaningful impact across client engagements and service delivery.
Responsibilities- Lead technical design and architecture for nominated customers and new business projects
- Prepare RFI/RFP responses, architectural designs, and related documentation
- Provide technical strategy and expertise to customers and the Managed Services organization
- Own and run multiple projects with independent decision-making under pressure
- Collaborate with presales and sales teams to support growth in Managed Services
- Deliver industry/competitive analysis and product updates to clients
- 4 years commercial experience in implementation or consultancy
- 7+ years in system solutions and delivery within Financial Services
- Experience with integration and implementation of service-related applications
- Knowledge of data security concepts and protection systems
- Solid Unix and Citrix background
- TOGAF or equivalent architectural framework experience/qualification
- Experience with third-party hosting is desirable
- Networking, server, and application virtualization experience
- Cisco networking (Routing, Firewall) experience
- Certifications in Unix/Oracle/Microsoft/VMWare/Cisco/Citrix
- Scripting experience (Unix shell/Windows tasks) desired
