Infrastructure Support Analyst

In this role you will support and maintain secure, mission-critical infrastructure in a 24/7 environment. You will join a close-knit on-site team in Portsmouth, driving reliability and performance of core systems while contributing to continuous improvement. A six-month training period in Hemel Hempstead and subsequent permanent onsite placement support your growth in complex, security-focused operations. This position offers hands-on technical impact within a structured, ITIL-aligned framework and a high-security programme.

• Support and manage core infrastructure (servers, storage, networking, OS)
• Handle incidents, problems, requests, and changes in an ITIL-aligned environment
• Investigate issues, perform root cause analysis, drive service improvements
• Monitor live services for performance, availability, resilience
• Support project delivery, testing, implementation, and releases
• Create and maintain technical documentation and operational procedures
• Contribute to continuous improvement of systems, services, and processes

• Infrastructure support experience
• Strong Wintel experience
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of ITIL-based service management
• Experience in structured operational environments
• Ability to work independently and in a technical team
• Current DV Clearance
