Overview

As Innovation Solutions Architect, you will pilot AI-enabled approaches to transform legal service delivery. You’ll work with ITS, Change and Risk & Compliance to explore data integrations, orchestration layers and emerging platforms, shaping scalable, practical solutions. You’ll run proof-of-concept pilots, advocate for adoption, and help translate client needs into innovative offerings. This role sits at the intersection of technology, process improvement and client experience, offering a clear impact on how the firm delivers value.

Responsibilities
  • Lead AI-driven innovation and R&D initiatives in collaboration with ITS, Change, and Risk & Compliance teams
  • Explore data integration opportunities (e.g., Boomi) and orchestration layers; assess MCPs
  • Investigate and pilot platforms (PowerApps, CoPilot) and integration with HighQ, Legora, ContractExpress
  • Identify use cases, run POCs, and drive adoption of successful solutions
  • Coordinate cross-functional piloting initiatives and build business cases for wider rollout
  • Oversee delivery of solutions to clients and OC teams; contribute to build and automation using OC tech stack
  • Ensure thorough testing (including client testing) and maintain a roadmap for iterative improvements
  • Participate in product development processes and solicit client feedback
  • Act as brand ambassador for Osborne Clarke Solutions
  • Promote OC Solutions through demonstrations, case studies and events
Key requirements
  • Experience researching, evaluating and piloting AI technologies and data integration platforms
  • Familiarity with Boomi, MCPs, orchestration layers, or low-code/no-code platforms (PowerApps, CoPilot)
  • Experience in a law firm or professional services environment
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally with technology, change and compliance teams
  • Strong track record in workflow and automation technologies
  • Ability to quickly learn new technologies and become SME
  • Experience in senior stakeholder management and client-facing discussions
  • Ability to manage failures and develop resolution plans
  • Curiosity, creativity and drive to improve client experience
