Insurance - Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis

Role overview

Develop financial and economic analysis for decision support, advise business leaders and Finance partners, and support financial performance management for the insurance business.

Key responsibilities

• Lead or support financial planning, forecasting, and performance reviews.
• Analyze variances, business drivers, initiatives, and strategic decisions to provide forecasts and recommendations.
• Assess business cases and support investment reviews and approvals.
• Develop financial methodologies and align business performance indicators with plans and forecasts.
• Monitor performance, identify emerging issues, and advise the assigned business group.

Qualifications

Typically 5–7 years of relevant experience and a post-secondary degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. In-depth communication, collaboration, analytical, problem-solving, influence, and data-driven decision-making skills.

Compensation

Salary: $70,000–$150,000 per year. The posting identifies the role as part-time.
