Overview

As a Solutions Architect at Metronome, you will ensure customers implement the platform effectively and realize value quickly. You’ll translate client challenges into technical designs across billing, pricing, and quote-to-cash. You will guide integrations and data migrations, working closely with both sales and R&D. This role offers impact at scale as you help shape how modern SaaS billing powers AI-driven monetization and growth.

Responsibilities
  • Perform discovery and scoping to understand client challenges in billing, pricing, quote-to-cash, and related areas
  • Support clients through the entire implementation lifecycle: requirements gathering, technical design, integration design, testing, data migration, launch
  • Provide expert guidance on usage-based pricing and consumption models
  • Configure Metronome system hands-on for clients
  • Design integrations between Metronome APIs and client systems (CRM/CPQ, Payments, Tax, ERP, Analytics)
  • Liaise between field and Metronome R&D to advocate for client needs and feature requests
  • Partner with implementation managers to track progress and proactively identify risks
  • Build and nurture client relationships across organizational levels
  • Design integrations into prospect systems and influence pricing/packaging direction
  • Ensure smooth handoff to post-implementation teams (Customer Success and Support)
Key requirements
  • 10+ years in technical and/or customer-facing roles involving SaaS products
  • Deep knowledge of quote-to-cash and integrations with Salesforce, NetSuite, CPQs, Billing, Tax, Payments
  • Experience leading complex, multi-phase technology transformation programs for enterprise
  • Experience in fast-moving startup environments with high agency
  • Ability to learn and communicate technical concepts to technical, GTM, and finance stakeholders
  • Excitement for building and improving GTM playbooks, processes, and reusable assets
