Overview

In this role you lead integration initiatives for blue‑chip clients, translating business needs into robust integration solutions. You guide cross‑functional teams, ensure best practices, and help sustain Glue Reply’s reputation for quality and innovation. You’ll design, blueprint, and implement integration architectures at scale, balancing delivery with security and performance. This is a hands‑on leadership position in a market‑leading integration consultancy with a strong growth trajectory.

Responsibilities
  • Define and design integration solutions from business and technical requirements
  • Lead and manage teams using MuleSoft, Boomi, Camel, and Workato
  • Translate needs into solution designs, RAML specs, and Mule flows with proper connectors, errors, and security
  • Support architects with blueprints and technical specs for integration solutions
  • Ensure adherence to standards for consistency and compliance
  • Champion automated testing (unit/integration) and security best practices
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to developers and testers
  • Contribute to Glue Reply’s intellectual property in the Integration Practice
  • Collaborate with business analysts and clients to break down requirements into actionable work
  • Drive team progress and maintain development velocity toward project goals
Key requirements
  • Extensive experience in enterprise integration development
  • 3+ years as a senior integration developer or team lead
  • Strong understanding of SOA/REST and API management, MFT, ETL, messaging
  • Hands‑on with MuleSoft and other tools (WebSphere, Oracle, WebMethods, Talend, Tibco, Apache Camel, Boomi)
  • Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Familiarity with XML-related tech (XSD, XML, XSLT), APIs, JSON, messaging queues (ActiveMQ, RabbitMQ, MQSeries, MSMQ)
  • Experience with Java frameworks (Hibernate, Camel) and architecture frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman, MODAF) advantageous
  • Understanding of DevOps, CI/CD; prior client‑facing consulting is beneficial
  • Ability to work autonomously and optionally in a Solution Architect role
  • SCUK security clearance eligibility; on‑site client work when required
